Sophisticated minimalism meets a sunburst of colors at Bradford House where owners Sara Kate Little and Jason Little have brought handpicked heirlooms from around the globe back to their beloved Oklahoma City.

Thanks to an affinity for pieces that tell a story and a fearless passion for mixing various styles, Sara Kate Little has created spaces that feel like a family home that has evolved over time, with each new generation tweaking it to make it their own. Acquired on buying trips to Europe and throughout the States, the hotel’s antique pieces have been carefully refurbished. Here, vintage Italian furniture, Old World exhibition posters from Paris, and Le Klint light fixtures augment French WWII-era medicine cabinets used as end tables, framed prints of Hermes scarfs, and Stilnovo chandeliers from Italy.

Architecture Gardner Studio

Two structures—one a historic home built in 1912 and the other a newly conceived modern guesthouse—unite to form Bradford House, an old-meets-new realm of style and elegance.

The original structure has been lovingly updated, with original bricks, tiles, mirrors, and millwork details carefully preserved and eccentric additions echoing the colorful townhouses of London. The modern structure, meanwhile, was inspired by the hoteliers’ many trips to Scandinavia, as well as by Mies van der Rohe's Lafayette Park project, in Detroit. And it all brilliantly opens up to a landscaped courtyard, a quiet escape that perfectly contrasts the hotel’s wrap-around, front-porch gathering spot.

Food & Drink A sophisticated scene

A popular meeting place in the city, the hotel’s gilded bar bathes guests and locals alike in modern riffs while presenting classic cocktails and a fine selection of wines from family-owned wineries around the globe.

Food & Drink International, local, classic, creative

Bradford House presents creative takes on French and Italian dishes, as well as American classics, in an intimate dining room under the guidance of rising-star Chef Caleb Stangroom.

The hoteliers traveled the world and brought back the dishes, cocktails, wines, and culinary ideas that inspired them—all now presented in a cozy, homelike setting that eventually leads diners out to a wrap-around front porch or to a sophisticated bar where guests and visitors alike come together to share stories. The hotel’s patisserie, meanwhile, features fresh croissants, pastries, and sweets from Quincy Bake Shop.
