The hotel pays homage to the great designers who have shaped modern design.

The hotel is housed in a former printing factory and warehouse that exemplifies the industrial architecture of the Victorian era, and upon restoration, the building was extended vertically with two stories of glass, steel, and copper. The result is a hybrid of the old and new: picturesque red brick, white awnings, and tall vertically sliding windows.

The Josef Hoffmann Room rejoices in simple shapes, minimal decoration, and geometric patterns; the Mies Van der Rohe room features a picture of his Seagram’s building while his furnishings, like the Barcelona chair and ottoman, take pride of place.
