Inspired by desert textures and the airy minimalism of Baja, the hotel presents a welcoming industrial aesthetic.

Rather than filling spaces with superfluous elements, the hotel’s designer instead focused on simple handmade finishes, such as polished concrete and white plaster walls, which are sparingly complemented with Mexican fixtures and fabrics. Local artisanal furniture and art are found throughout the hotel. Together, these minimal elements and cultural touchstones create a texture that gives one a sense of warmth and human touch, without any unnecessary clutter.

Architecture Rima

Preserving the distinct look of the existing structure, the architect has naturally extended the original space, making it larger and more functional for a more welcoming and embracing experience.

Deliberate steps were taken to ensure that the interior and exterior blend seamlessly into one space, thus enhancing the organic flow of the property. Here, distinct architectural elements, such as concrete structures, sliding windows, and clean, modern lines, blend seamlessly with fruit trees, while many pieces of furniture are built-in, producing spaces that are both functional and architectural.
