This converted warehouse draws upon the creative legacy of one of The Bloomsbury Group. Star designer Kit Kemp has reinvented the Bloomsbury aesthetic for the 21st century. Once a pharmacy, the building now teems with light, airy spaces punctuated by period details like wooden paneling, molding, and tall windows that elegantly frame the views across the London rooftops outside.

might be the eye-catching centerpiece of any given guestroom. Sumptuously patterned fabrics dominate the décor, such as those used to cover the tall, padded headboards. Kemp even came up with an exclusive wallpaper print using details taken from an 18th-century Hogarth Press woodcut.

commissioned for the bar and restaurant, which updates Roger Fry’s 1916 fresco “Scenes of Contemporary London Life” with a treasure trove of scenes from today.
Design & Architecture
Green is the color of life, hope, energy, and nature, so I often use it to breathe fresh air into a room. In the Terrace Suite at Ham Yard Hotel, Natasha Hulse has intricately appliquéd one of our signature headboards with an elaborate floral design. The three-dimensional quality of her work gives the room depth and breaks the boundary between indoors and outdoors.
