Hotel Claris' architecture treats history with abundant respect while still progressing along entirely new paths. Only the façade of the original grand urban house, built in 1892 as a Verduna Palace, remains. On the ground floor, solid glass window walls allow passers-by a fascinating view of the lobby with its steel, copper, glass and concrete design. Along with its stunning architecture, Hotel Claris Barcelona also contains its own ancient art museum with one of the largest private collections of Egyptian art in Spain. Over 400 sculptures and paintings are distributed throughout the entire hotel and its 124 rooms and suites.
