Claus Sendlinger

Born in Augsburg, Germany, in 1963. Claus looks back on many years of experience in the event and travel industry as well as in marketing of lifestyle hotels. Following a degree in public relations, Claus embarked on a career in event planning and PR for hotels and clubs. This opened doors to the lifestyle market and at the age of 23 Claus founded CO-ORDINATES GmbH, an incentives and events agency. This formed the basis for the foundation of lebensart global networks AG as a marketing and technology provider for the hospitality industry based in Germany. In 2002, Condé Nast Traveller placed him in their Top 50 list of world tourism experts, in the category of most creative and innovative international tourism entrepreneurs.
Since 1999, Claus Sendlinger is the CEO of Design Hotels AG. He manages the company in a team together with the Director of Finance, Sascha Wolff, and the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Iain Ainsworth.

Dr. Holger Peres is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Design Hotels AG since July 13, 2006. As a lawyer and partner of Beiten Burkhardt law firm, he has specialised in company and stock corporation law. He also acts as consultant to many companies in the tourism industry.
Dr. Rainer Götz
Dr. Rainer Götz has been a member of the supervisory board of Design Hotels AG since July 13, 2006. He is head of the legal department of the Schoerghuber group of companies.
Carsten Rath
Deputy Chairman
Carsten Rath has been a member of the supervisory board since July 13, 2006. He is Chairman of the management board of Arabella Hotel Holding International GmbH & Co.KG, managing director of ArabellaStarwood Hotels & Resorts GmbH as well as member of the management board of the Schoerghuber group of companies. Carsten K. Rath has many years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry.
Holger Lösch
Holger Lösch was appointed member of the supervisory board in the annual shareholder meeting on June 28, 2007. He is Vice President and Executive Director Communications & Marketing at the Federation of German Industries in Berlin.
Heinz Horrmann
Heinz Horrmann was appointed member of the supervisory board in the annual shareholder meeting on June 28, 2007. Mr. Horrmann is a publicist and writer as well as CEO of Hotel Management Service Horrmann.
